any chance of Hegemonia on ETW?

hi,


i wondered if hegemonia will be on ETW?
cause, ETW will have ship battles, and this would be great with Salamis and such
i hope the mod is converted to ETW when it comes out

Would be good but seeing as they haven't even released a version for RTW, it pretty unlikely.

well, to stay on topic: i know the rtw version isn't out yet, but i thought, when ETW comes out that hegemonia would be done then.... (since they actually said it would be before m2tw no problem guys )
but when ETW is out, they would just have to convert the files, change some things, mod the ship battles, and then it would be super!!!

could someone of the hegemonia team reply on what their thoughts about this are?

Dude,

I don´t think it´s gonna be that simple. Rome and Medieval 2 are based on the same engine and both were different compared to the engine of Shogun and Medieval 1 which - you think correctly - was the same.

ETW is gonna be more complex so... relax...

I never knew a Roman lover could be so interested in a Greek mod ! That truly makes you the most unbiased Roman I have ever come across ! Besides that just out of curiosity, which faction do you decide to take up on your first campaign game assuming this game ever releases ! :hmmm:

The RTW engine and graphics are 4 years old and pretty dated. I'm waiting for the Hegemonia MTWII Kingdoms release.

Yep. And if I wanted to play in a medieval/dark age time frame I'd either play ChivTW or IBFD.
