recomendation

First of i know its the wrong forum but since i only play and post SS i thought i ask here.

I want to play Rome Total War but the original game is not that exiting so was wondering is there any good modes out there, maybe something similar to SS but for Rome?

Ok thanks guy's, is it worth playing still now that i play SS 6.1? Im asking as ive been reading up alot on rome ect so fancy'd playing with them. But there has been big jump in quality from rome game to medieval 2!

Roma Surrectum , Rome: Total Realism (RTR), Europa Barbarorum (EB) and DarthMod (DM). I have all these installed on my comp. They are my favorites and I have a copy of vanilla incase of screwups.

Yeah it is worth playing as it is a change, completely different tactics, units etc from the roman era to the medieval era. Well I still find it fun having to ability to hunt down barbarians

I second Roma Surrectum, its absolutely amazing, and that was the older versions. Some of their updates look out of this world.

Hey, had a play play with RS and thought it was not bad, but i missed the concept of the vanila version of having the 3 roman factions, i know they not historically acurate but it was fun to get powerfull and then get rid of the senate and fight the other roman faction (almost like civil war).

So although i enjoyd RS is there any modes that improve gameplay but dont change the 3 roman faction ect?#

I havnt seen any mods that have kept the 3 roman factions, but I have seen them include roman rebels such as in BI. XGM has this included and I think RTR (well the version I last played) had it included also.

Hope this helps.

But if there is a mini-mod for RS adding Roman Rebels or something I would be really interested in it.
