Default How do i install a seperate RTW?

I think this is the way but if im wrong please help!
Is it just a case of copying a clean RTW folder,to another folder with a different name, say Activision\Rome-Total War 2. And then change the Rome.exe icon to the same folder name?

The problem i have had (i havent tried the above yet) is when i put my RTW disc in,the "install" button is not highlighted as the game detects that its already installed.

You only need a single 'install' of R:TW the others are just copies which are used for mods to the game.

Any patching of the game (with the official patches 1.2 etc) is made against the original game folder.

As Leonidas The Lion has posted some mods are available as 'mod switch' versions. However, I still prefer to keep these in a folder of their own so if I ever want to remove a mod I simply delete the entire folder. Yes, it does use more disk space but that isn't a problem for me. If disk space is a problem just write the folder to a CD-ROM or DVD-ROM and copy it back when required.
