(the article continues on)ABC News has learned that fundraisers for the two candidates are discussing how to merge their war chests into a single campaign focused on taking on Republican Sen. John McCain of Arizona in November.
Each party eventually unifies its donor base, but what makes this move unusual is that the campaign is still hard-fought and relations are strained. The Clinton campaign confirmed the move, saying, "We believe Hillary Clinton will be that nominee."
Talk of a joint war chest comes as the two candidates prepare for an expected split decision in the primaries being held Tuesday.
Clinton will be in Kentucky, where the New York senator is expected to win handily.
there is a couple of other articles, but this is the one a found. Heard about it on CNN earlier. So far nothing can be confirmed though, and the Obama Camp denies it. Still very interesting if it is true. One of the most likely ideas that was given was that it will help finance Clinton's debt, while adding wat little she has left to Obama to help combat McCain.
I believe that if this and the reasoning turns out to be true, it will be very damaging to Obama when his supporters find out he's using their money to finance Hilldog's 20 million dollar debt.
What do YOU think?
