    Default Modifying buildings and cities

I'd like to remove the city size limit for the Barbarians factions, is it possible?

Also, i'd like to add recruitable units for some factions like parthia and sarmatia. I succesfully added the cyrthian troops (for both) and the sparabara (for parthia) for custom battles, but how could i make them recruitable in the campaign games?

What do you mean by that?

You need to add them in EDB(export_descr_buildings) for the barracks of each faction you want. But I should tell you. In vanilla RTRPE both factions can already recruit the cyrtians and parthia can also recruit the sparabara. Of course, they are recruited based on hidden resources from a certain area only. They are aor and not faction units. If you want to make them faction units you just need to remove the and hidden_resource x part at the end of the line.

Here`s a guide on including new units:

Just remember that in RTR the barracks and auxilia phases are specific to each faction and not one building for all of them as it was in vanilla.

I'm sorry i didn't saw them as recruitable units in the Sarmatian's starting provinces, what are those regions?

Wioth the city size restriction i mean that the barbarians cities could not be mnore than "monor city".

Thanks Florin, i'll try to make it work

The sarmatian aor units are recruitable from the aor_scyth area. The sparabara is recruited from aor_pers and aor_asia which means most of Asia basically.
The cyrtians are recruited via the aor_hill resource which is for the rough area of Asia. From Armenia to Hyrcania iirc.
The hidden resources are enumerated at the begining of the EDB file and then they are distributed to the regions in descr_regions(rtw/data/wolrd/maps/base).

Wioth the city size restriction i mean that the barbarians cities could not be mnore than "monor city".
For that you`d need to do a lot of modding since there are no graphic files in RTW vanilla(and RTRPE) for those cities. Check this mini mod:

One more question: how could i change the unit's appearance, using some of the skins that are in the download area? :hmmm:

In EDU each of the units has a soldier entry. That is the title of its DMB entry where you need to change the name of the texture and model. Presuming they have the same weapons you don`t need to edit the skeleton in DMB or the EDU entry.
Then you`d either need to remove the sprites lines or make some yourself because most of the skin packs from the dl section only contain the textures and models and the old sprites will most likely cause CTDs. I suggest you read the guide I linked you to. It`s very detailed.
