    Default Mirror's edge (PC; 360 & PS3)

I think we can all agree that this game looks pretty ing awesome. If you havent heard of it here's a screen.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    And trailer

The game is First person open world and is set in a police state in the near future. Apparently you must be some kind of rebel whose job is to deliver messages from one place to another and there is combat too but probably a secondary feature of gameplay.
    Anyone's excited?

How can you say it looks boring, that looks totally sweet and fresh. I very much like the art style, this kind of graphics are rare in the middle of all these dark shoters.

This looks pretty cool, it has potential but like with any game made by EA I have my worries. It seems as though the running and vaulting and sliding would be cool for about 15 mins in itself....hopefully they'll have ways to keep this interesting mechanic fresh and fun.

I dont think combat needs to be any more than a secondary concern in the game but I just hope they don't make the combat system second rate and unbearable.

Besides the stupid EA logo, from the out set the game looked like and sounded like an EA backed title. Nice sound effects, high production values, liner gameplay and little substance.

Now I've said that EA will undoubtedly throw millions into the games marketing budget and the game will sell over a million copies.

I already started a thread like this but you wrote some better background information that me so I can live with it.

Well this game looks great and I hope EA have stopped killing devolopers so Dice will get the time they need. And better it comes to the PC and it is not console exclusive

Parkour is so freaking cool. When Jesus returns for the Second Coming He will be a parkour expert and perform miraculous leaps between rooftops instead of turning water into wine. In the future war will be practised between specially trained parkour-troops responsible for seizing control of skyrises.

Not sure if I like the idea of parkour becoming all the rage on video games but I have to admit it's an activity with plenty of potential to be explored on the vidya. See Assassin's Creed.

I saw something about this game on X-Play last week, but they didn't talk much about it because of the lack of info they had.

Because of games like Unreal Tournament 3, F.E.A.R., Half-Life 2, and Assassin's Creed, I've had to upgrade my computer with an AMD Athlon 64 4000+ San Diego 2.4GHz processor and ATI Radeon X1650 Pro 512MB PCI-E Graphics Card just to bring it slightly more up-to-date, in addition to the 2 gigs of DDR RAM I already had.

If I wanted a game like that, I'd probably have to build a new rig.

Is anyone else shocked to see COLOURS again?

No sight of browny bloom as far as the eye can see...

I think there are as much colours there as there are in the browny dark shoters, only now its not grey and brown but blue, white and red. It's always a better combination.

If that runs assassin's creed on max it'll probably run mirror's edge too. Dont forget it's being developed for the consoles just like AC.

EA can burn in hell. They did more damage to gaming over the years than anything else i can think of.
