Problem With The Mod And Patch

Hey, I'm new here and i downloaded the mod and when i start it up it plays like its normal rome total war not even the barbarian expansion and then when i try to install the 2.5 patch after it starts up rome for like 2 seconds then says "Generic Error: Unable to find skeleton 'fs_mumak_small' o.O yeah not sure what that means but if anyone could help me out that'd be great..

And btw i am using vista if that has anything to do with it...

First things first: Are you sure you have pointed the installer to the correct location and that you have patched your BI to 1.6?

yeah i installed everything into the RTW main folder and i checked in options it has 1.6 in the top right corner.

Does it matter if i launch it with the RTW Cd or the RTW BI Cd?

You should be launching it with the cd that contains the Bi.exe afaik.

I also just downloaded it. I followed the instrucctions and when i launched it, it says something about a script image not being recognized at line 2095. What did i do wrong?

Have you patched your BI to 1.6? Did u point the installer to the right directory (main RTW directory)? If the answer to both is yes for sure, then please use the .rar version, it should work perfectly. If the answer is no, then please fix the above and retry.

I have a problem too....

I downloaded the latest version....installed....and when i clicked on the FATW exe shortcut, my monitor blew up and burned my eyebrows off.

What did i do wrong?

Can you provide the exact target line of where you pointed the installer or .rar version to?
For example my target line looks like this....
F:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly\FATW

Note: I renamed my RTW/BI install to FATW and also have it on a different drive than most, so your target line should probably look something similar to this...
C:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly or Activision\Rome - Total War BI....or something like that.

As the installation instructions clearly mention, the installer is directed to the main RTW directory, NOT the bi one. And the .rar version is simply impossible to not work if applied correctly. Please make sure you're following the instructions to the letter.

I shall soon be removing the current installation instructions and replacing them with a translation of them rendered in the ancient Coptic. It, as far as I can tell, will make little difference.

Hello friends!

I have a CTD playing with Rohan, the game crashes in FO 259, allways at AI turn, sometimes with Reunited Kingdom mostly at Outlaws turn. I remember this happened with the older version, the solution was replacing a line in a text file. The problem is I forgot which one it was.

(please don't answer in Coptic)

Update: I just installed the 2.5 patch, so this will fix my problem (sorry for the trouble!)

Whenever I click on the icon, I get the little black box, then it disappears and nothing happens. BI patched to 1.6, installed in RTW main directory. Need help 'cause this looks like a good mod. I even patched it to 2.5 and still won't work

Please download and use the .rar version of the mod; link and instructions in the main release thread of our official forums (the same where you found the .exe version) You should be ok then.
