Default How can i remove the titles?

    HI

just wondering how i can disable the ability for generals/family members to recieve land titles i.e earl of wessex etc.

i find managing these titles a huge huge time sink, especially when playing as factions like byzantium who can amass massive empires.

i dont mind keeping the titles like master of the horse or the various courtly lord offices.

    any help much apreciated

i would like to know if they made the algorithm to move the title of the lord of the city to another general. For example if one general is lord of many cities if you can move that ancillary to another person...

There is no logic in removing titles, but only moving some to another general, especially the titles of the cities.

I think of it like some kind of roleplaying. Especially playing as Byzantium: I keep the Emperor in the West and the Prince in the East, and I divide my families: Doukas, Kantakouzinoi and some branch of Komnenos to the West, the rest of Komnenos and Tzimiskes to the East. These are just family surnames. I mean that I spread my families in two (then in more, for Russia, for Italy, for Germany, for Egypt...) and then I keep the generals in their place.

Playing with Aragon, I needed to keep a general in Mallorca (wrongly known as Palma) because of the continous Moors attacks to the island. So this general took the title "King of Mallorca" and one of his sons, normally an "administratively minded" one, always kept in the city, while the others went to other places where I needed Generals. I use to associate families to a territory. I've had the Pallars family in Morocco for the last 100 years, fighting the moors and the african Sicily possessions. Also I've had the Urgell family in northern Italy, and a branch of the king's family in Egypt, which represents the crusader Kingdom of Egypt, ruled by this family.

And, of course, every elder son of every family must go to the city to be intitled in its cathedral. Quite realistic, I think

i know you can move the titles...

im actually more interested in disabling the feature from the game itself, what files would i need to edit?

i also love the role play element it gives but its just too time consuming and unrealistic having 1 general get 3 titles just becuause there arn't enough generals to go around

If a general has 3 titles as lord/king/catapan/strategos etc of 3 cities, how can i move a specific title to another general?
