Installation Problem
Hey guys,
I've bought M2TW from the store to check it out, and today I decided to install it. So I put the disk in, started installation, and just kept clicking next, changing nothing. I typed my CD-Key in and kept clicking next until it started the installation.
When the loading bar got to 8 blocks, suddenly this message appeared:
Packs Transfer Error
Feature: Packs
Component: packs
File: D:\main\packs\data_1.pack
Error: Data error (cyclic redundancy check)
I clicked ok, and then it quit the installation. I tried again, same thing. One of my friends said it might be that my disk is dirty, but it's been cleaned and it still does the same thing.
Can anyone give me a solution?

Re: Installation Problem
If the disc is fresh out of the box and no scratches or other surface problems then contact Sega support for a set of new discs.

Re: Installation Problem
Is the disk being scratched or having surface problems the only reason for this error happening?

Re: Installation Problem
No but that is the place to check first. If there are no scratches or other visible blemishes on the disk, it is probably a bad disk that got shipped. As I said, if the above is true contact Sega support for a new set.
