mtw crashing
ok, i can load battles fine, but he campaign map wont load at all, it just goes to the menu screen everyime and occasionally CTD.
I have processor 1400mhz, 512mb of ram, loads of hard drive space, and an intel(R) 82852/82855 GM/GME Graphics Controller on XP service pack 2.
what can be causing it and more importantly how do i fix it?

Re: mtw crashing
Have you chabged any of the files? Have you loaded any mods? Have you put the -show_err switch in the command line in the shortcut?

Re: mtw crashing
On the RTW shortcut on your desktop, right-click it. click preferences. In the line that is highlighted, go to the end of it to your right and add -show_err. Click okay.

Re: mtw crashing
Ok, I have no idea how to use that, I assume it tells me an error. How do I find that out?
the line I have highlighted is "C:\Program Files\Total War\Medieval - Total War\Medieval_TW.exe", what should the line look like with the thing you added? and how exactly do I use it?
Sorry, Im not good with computers.

Re: mtw crashing
"C:\Program Files\Total War\Medieval - Total War\Medieval_TW.exe", -show_err. Funny thing about computer games, after a while the computers will force you to learn them.
