I was wondering is there a set amount of turns, or can you basically play until you conquer every province and not have to worry about it?

Im guessing its unlimited, thats why they changed it to AUC, because they had problems with turn amounts on Bc.

Yeah, it's pretty much unlimited.
I wonder if someone would like to take a small island (Ireland comes to mind) and then just run the turns until one nation has conquered? It would be interesting to see who wins.
Someone did that once and put it in an aar, it was an excellent read.
I'll see if i can find it
EDIT: found it http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=119254
It is not unlimited. What you do is check descr_strat.txt in the data/world/map/campaign/imperial_campaign folder. Not sure if its right. Or search the RS folder for descr_strat.txt and scroll down you will see start date and end date.
or a new RS will be out, we aren't EB you know *wink*
The game sets your parameters. Regular or short. The variable in short being the factions you outlast. Regular, that you have to conquer specific settlements. Even after that I believe you can continue for Domination. Or until you get bored. Whether the game stops at a certain date or not, you may find that answer in the compiled information thread.
