more unit types less variations would be super cool. (last post : youre right it doesnt work with the late period.)
Hi all,
I been away from this community for quite some time now and i apologise to any who were eagerly awaiting the updated release of the garrison script. Personal issues have forced me away from M2TW. Alas, i am back. Have picked up from where i was at with the Garrison Script and anyone still interested in its release i assure you i still plan to finish it. It will still take some time for me to re-organise all my efforts as some files have been totally lost and therefore i have lost much time. Regardless, I am working on it again.
For those of you who messaged me regarding why i havent posted in a while i thank you for any concerns you may have had... I just love this community

We missed you Tsarsies! I'm really glad that you are back
WB Tsarsies, hope you had a good time off (although it's never good to be away from TWC).

hey, is it normal for the computer to spawn 12 units in one settlement immediately after you begin besieging it?
i thought it was just going to spawn a few, like 3-4, to provide more of a challenge but 12 units is just ridiculous! i've never heard of a siege where the attacker has fewer soldiers than the defender.
also, to get more variance, i think you should replace one unit of spearmen with macemen. so 1/3 spearmen, 1/3 macemen and 1/3 crossbowmen.
anyway, thanks in advance.
It all depends on which garrison script you are using. I am in the process (and have been for awhile) of putting together a much more varied and well balanced script. Its still in development and all other scripts willl be scrapped when its released. The script you are using was and is just a test script really.
I assure you, the next release is much more thought out.

awesome! and thanks for the quick reply!
Hi. Which of the 3 download files should i use?
Tsarsies_Garrison_Script.zip
T_Epic_GS.zip
Garrison_Script_V0.9a.zip
Which is the best?
P.S. And plz... make it compatible with late era campaign

Use Garrison_Script_V0.9a.zip.
Currently not compatible with the late era, but it has no turn lag. I'm not sure if someone altered the script to make it compatible or not, if so i don't think they have posted it.

Hi Tsarsies,
please...make your Garrison script compatible with late era campaign...
please!!!
I play the late era too, and it appears to work fine. It was still the same copy and paste to the late era compaign file.
Any update on the progress for the next version? I've been waiting for it
Sorry for making you wait so long, i certainly hope it turns out to be worth the wait
I am plodding away here. Took me some time to re-organize my files after being absent. but i have got myself back into the swing of things. The next version is certainly being put together, a little longer then I'd hoped, but coming along well.
As for compatibility with the late era campaign, I think it is a simple editing of a settlement's name change to make it work properly. Although, as i have never played the late era i do not know which settlement (or settlements) have had name changes.

The good news is that i only have 50 settlements or so to add, and im able to get 5-10 done a day. So hopefully i'll have a release in a weeks time or so.

Great
good news!
Tsarsies, I don't know if I'm allowed to say this but the 'DLV' mod already uses a garrison script, maybe you can have a look at that and see if that could be of help...
