PC Crash

I was playing a battle using Rio's IBFD mod and doing a battle as the Romano-British and a minute or so into the battle, my computer crashes and restarts. Now this was a few months ago, but I downloaded it again and it did the same thing. I'm not going to try again, but what could have caused this? my PC runs every other RTW mod fine (even if my pc a bit dated), plus I'v never seen this happen before at anytime since I've had this computer.

Make sure to have the VII Expansion and the Fixes Patch over the Flagellum Dei VII only..nothing else...if you do I'm at a loss right now to why this has happened.

Well, I downloaded as specified, but I can't see that causing the PC to shutdown and restart. During the restart sequence, it ran a few things and it said you're computer has experienced a fatal error or something along those lines.
