Do they need one, BC is pretty well catered for here at TWC
Who cares if we don't learn from History, its bloodly interesting.

Too much weird stuff happens for god not to exist

We don't really need one now. But I hope to use the webspace I've been paying for to host an aesthetically pleasing presentation of all aspects of BC (ie detailed faction previews, units, stats, campaign guides, history tid bits, general pics and the like).

I think that'd be a great idea. Part of Europa Barbarorum's success in my opinion, or at least what attracted me to it, was the website. It was well laid out and interesting - kept my attention for hours and was easy to navigate. Take a leaf from their codex.

Hopefully after 1.5 we can recruit some web designer(s) to help us out with that.

Argh...I needs me 1.5...That auxilia system sounds deliciously delicious.

    Game of the Fates
Mod of the week on hold -- I've played nearly every RTW mod out there.
BOYCOTT THE USE OF SMILEYS! (Okay, just once)
Antiochos VII...last true scion of the Seleucid dynasty...rest in peace, son of Hellas.
I've returned--please forgive my long absence.

I'm excited about it myself too. Ahiga's crazy mind has been cooking up and creating whole ethnicites of new foreign warriors that all factions will be recruit from both cities and castles. You will get to see everything from nobles princes and locals of many nations to savage and ferocious tribesmen from the mountains and deserts populating your armies.

Awesome! But why both from cities and castles? That also removes the point of having castles out of your own AOR as cities bring in more money...

Good point. What I can do is make city auxi barracks have a negative happiness/law property when built in cities to simulate the fact that city dwellers don't like to be shoved into armies. Conversely I'd give the castle auxi barracks a happiness bonus to show the fact that a fortification is a better security choice for your frontiers.

I'd also probably make city auxi barracks more longer and expensive to build to add further discouragements.
