If you referring to Auto-run, yes. There is instruction somewhere on the TWC forum explaining how to set it up.

OK, I'll rearch. Thanks, and +rep

Edit: Found something, but it only allows playing until some emergent faction pops up, and I want it to continue after the mongols...

I tried the solution you're referring to from this thread: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=124634

You can actually take over any time you want, it's just that by setting yourself as the emergent faction you can guarantee what turn you take control back over.

However, considering the slowness of ai turns in BC (on my system at least) you could probably just check in every hour or so and be within 10 turns of the year you are hoping for.

So you mean just switching of control of the emergent faction too, so I control nothing, ill try if its possible.

If you know your way around the M2TW files you could use an unused faction slot (ie HRE) and make it emerge using similar scripts/settings as mongols. And then just set their emergence date till however long you want to run the AI world and then finally use the same method for playing mongols to keep running till then.

I will probably give this a shot myself sometime.

There is a way to make it run for ever, I foud one

In a hotseat campaign you just switch all factions to AI control, for example if you play the seljuks typen in "control russia", and the game now also switched the seljuks to AI control, and the game runs by itself

If you do it that way youll have to view the AI turn of your faction, so you should do it this way: first type "control mongols" than type(for example) "control russia", and first when the seljuk AI turn is finished type "control mongols" to make them AI controlled when they emerge.

    Update 2:
When the mongols come you type for example "control hungary" if sindh is destroyed, or "control danes" when oman is destroyed etc. then type "control mongols"(if its not AI controlled allready) to make them AI controlled, so when you "control" a dead faction nothing happens in your turn so you can just watch, normally there are some dead factions when the mongols arrive.

I have a quite crazy watching campaign, I have had the comp on running turns while I did other things sice I came home from school.

    Here faction ratings:

Earliest destroyed factions(Chauhans don't count): First turks, they were killed by ERE and allies early on, than Sindh, were destroyed by ghazni in a war that they seemed to hold out tuntil a rapid switch they got owned in 3 turns.

Biggest downfall: Khwarezm, the #1 faction most of the time, they wore the mongols down by calling a jihad, the mongos only got 1 settlement, are now fighting a bitter war vs abbasids that theyre loosing.

Most unnormal survivers(2 factions): Makuria, which hasnt been in war with egypt yet, and ghazni which is right now stronger than the ghorids.

Most crazy faction: The ayyubids, the now skyrocketing #1 faction on the map, controling egypt, palestine, syria, west arabian coast and anatolia, the crazy thing is not that, but that they also own Merv, and Jalandhar, WTF? I wasnt there when it happened, so I can't tell how.

Factions that might have chance of becoming superpowers: Ghazni, Rajas, Ghorids and Kyps.

    Superpowers: Ayyubids and Abbasids

Former superpowers: ERE(Now dead), Ghorids, Khwarezm and Seljuks

Most unexpected roleswitch: The Christian alliance was beating up the ayyus, kyps, and abbas, the abbasids killed off georgia, but the provinces they took were taken by ERE, that marked the start of the supreme ERE superpower that lasted very many turns, Ayyus were loosing against the KoJ, but because the abbas had taken some koj settlements the ayyus rushed them down in a couple of turns, killing tg\hem completely, beat up armenia, and conquered all of anatolia, and constantinople, the abbas were held back by the tricky positin of trebizond, and never got further.
The powerswitch was very short, after the ayyubd-armenian war started it seemed equal, and then the ayyubids just steamrolled the, and killed ERE the same time, it was the quickest downfall and rise of a superpower in the campaign so far, and the ayyus are nearly secured a place as the end 2 factions.

Edit: I just switched into the ayyubid campaign to look at their cities and army, and I notice they got both Qutuz and Baybars as family members, is that scripted?
