Do they have Reskinned units, do they have more gunpowder units, etc.

They have different skins from vanilla. And yes they do have more gunpowder units than vanilla (greek arquebusiers, bombards and cannon towers).
They're fun. The huge map really expands the campaign, and Asia Minor is reproduced beautifully. A great campaign, my favorite so far for 6.1.
I haven't played them in 6.1 because I don't like the skins. Of course, that's totally a matter of taste, so check out some of the screenshots for yourself. THe unit roster is certainly interesting and the new pressures from the east should make them fun to play.
They are really fun to play, but i have to agree with wolfgrin idonīt like their skins too.
They need Broken Crescent skins. I keep stressing the point till its done![]()

Protospatharios in the service of the Emperor.
''The world has no room for cowards. We must all be ready somehow to toil, to suffer, to die. And yours is not the less noble because no drum beats before you when you go out into your daily battlefields, and no crowds shout about your coming when you return from your daily victory or defeat.''
Hmm.... From the looks of it it doesen't sound to good.....
Its easy to get a Byzantine campaign going with this mod. You have a lot of starting troops that are good enough to keep in your stacks for quite a while. The starter Byz Spear and Trebizond archer are good units. Plenty of rebel areas to to secure before a war starts. I've never been able to finish a game in DLV with this, my favorite faction, but at nearly the half way point of my inaugural SS 6.1 campaign, I feel like I'm going to see this through.
