How to fix comp freeze/bad losing cheating npc

i have details on the tough scenario of what im going through with my 4th time playing german game in the battle planning section. anyways no matter how i sack rome it freezes, no matter if i do it manualy or with auto victory. i had error message and boot outs but never everything freezing. any suggestions?


i waited 2-3 more turns until i got the chance again and it still did the same thing. this game isnt ment for germans to win i guess.

You must have some corrupt files, or maybe your save game is corrupted.

And if that is the case you will need to reinstall RTW and start anew to be certain the files aren't crapped.

man thats some stressful bull, i never gotten this far with germans and its my 4th time!!

Well if your game itself is a problem, you can copy the save and paste in one of your other folders, reinstall RTW, then put the save back inside the RTW saves folder.

I have destroyed Rome with every faction one time or another over the years. I would say reinstall is the only solution.
