    Default Question from RS noob

Is there any way to turn off the insane 0-turn recruitments? It is frustrating me especially with Gaul. As Syracuse I conquered Sicily and then the peninsula without any trouble but then spent 5x or more as long conquering Gaul. It just seems like every turn one of my legions is set upon by 2 or 3 legions of Gaul.

I remember another mod where this could be turned off, maybe Rome Medieval. Even if I have to go into files and edit information to change this I would be willing to.

Thank you in advance for any assistance!

Please search next time to see if this question has been answered before:

In the data folder you will find a folder named '_important_stuff'. It's named that because there's important stuff in it.

In that folder is one called 'Recruitment'. In THAT folder you will see two folders:

    0_turn and 1_turn

Copy the two files in either one into your 'data' folder (overwriting the two that are there when asked), and you will be playing 1 or 0 turn.

You can switch back and forth, but it is best to do this when you are NOT recruiting anything or building anything in your campaign.

I'll just highlight what Marcus said, if you are doing this in the middle of a campaign, then make sure you don't have anything being built or recruited!
