Cool, I haven't loaded up xfire in so long I think I will this Sunday I've probably got a lot of members to approve!

me and my friends play medieval 2 on hamachi by lan battles.Do you play in online battles.?
Durma, Arap, durma kibrini artır!
Türklüğün başına hakaret yağdır!
Uyuyan bir kavme bu zillet azdır,
Vur, eski kölesi utandır onu!
Bırakma uyusun, uyandır onu!
aka Turcoman....
It's a chat program. You can see what games your contacts are playing, can get auto patches and you can even use the chat function within games such as MMO's (well most of them) so it can be useful but it is essentially just a way of staying in contact with your gamer friends. You can do that with MSN or whatever program you play but with Xfire you can load games via the program (it scans your drive for games) and can use it within games without having to keep them windowed or minimize so i prefer it to any other program.

Xfire just check for games you have installed and it's like a chat program that tells your friends that use it too, that you are online playing Medieval II for example.
I've decide to update the main post so if anyone else would like to join now we can quickly see who's who.
But I don't play Kingdoms online. I don't play any Total War game online.![]()
Well Xfire isn't just for TW. It's a universal program aimed to anyone who plays any game online. As I mentioned before if you play MMO's it is useful because you can access the program from within the game in full screen mode. If you don't play any games online then it's probably not much use but the thread was started in realtion to playing TW Hotseat
P.S. You should try TW Hotseat. There's nothing quite like playing other human players in Campaign mode. You can play the battles agaist AI or with aoto calc battles so you don't fight each other in campaign mode as that isn't possible in campaign but just the fact there is human opposition makes the game much more enjoyable.

Can't add anyone else now for some reason. :hmmm:
I have XFire, but I still don't play games online. I don't have one of those Gamespy accounts, so I can't.
I'd probably lose anyway. I'm so used to the AI...
