One KOJ stack left :(

The KOJ were "In Flight" after I took their last settlements and I've been hunting them down with my camel archers...

Now if I destroy this last stack will the KOJ disappear for ever? That would be a shame I have really enjoyed the war - or will the pope just spam more crusaders?

** OK I'm confused from readin the forums etc I know a few more crusades will turn up even if I annihilate the remaining KOJ forces, however Richard should have showed up in 1190 and didn't and it's 1192 (unless I missed the message and he died in subsequent battles...not likely I would have noticed fighting longbowmen)

Also there is a huge force of Levant Rebels near antioch - maybe the AI assassinated a crusader general or he died of old age? The Levant rebels have no longbowmen so they are almost certainly not the Remnants of Richards' force :S

I think it might depend on how many times you have captured their important crusade-launching cities, if its once and you kept hold of it, i'd expect some blue-eyed Franks to come and have a chat with you.

They don't. I wiped out the KoJ and the Ayyubids (sp?) as the ERE, then some ten or twenty or so turns after the message that the KoJ are dead, a crusade was called to recapture the "muslim" holy land (nevermind that it was all in ERE hands... I wonder if converting them all to orthodox religion will help), and shortly after that a new KoJ stack popped up. So now I have wiped KoJ out twice in the same campaign. I wonder if they'll be back to pester me again.

Well, I eliminated the KOJ as the ERE once and when the assault of the 4th crusade came, the two Generals were outside Constantinople as rebels, then they disappeared the next turn.

I was disappointed.

That's because they are spawned at 60-something of age, Has been corrected already for 1.5

I did notice the age... but I tried again today and got the crusader to come... I didn't eliminate the KOJ, and the two generals attacked this time. I'm pretty sure their disappearance had something to do with my elimination of the KOJ, but I'm not 100% sure.

@Dash - the 4 crusade has nothing to do with your relations with Koj - it's a scripted event and will happen even if you and KOJ are the best buddies. The generals are old and die on the second turn, but as Maraud said it's been fixed for the next version, or so we are told
