Recruiting Units
Hello i am finding it hard to recruit ant units from citys or castles i have captured. The year is 1338 and i am playing as abasids,Bagdad being my Capitol.I have been in campaign in Byzantine an managd to sieze hold of vital ports...i have had these now fro some years but all i can recruit are Levi Speerman? will there be a point when i can recruit a better class of troops? from these regions.

AOR (area of recruitment) my friend. If your not in your AOR , there is a limit to what you can recruit. The mechanics and details are gonna change for BC 1.5, but for the time being you could check out any "AOR" thread for specific answers (use search, cos i think there's a few).
