Hi,
i was trawling through youtube,watching clips about Empire related stuff to see if i could find anything to add to the "movies to get you into an Empires mood" thread when i came across this.I know i could have put it in that thread but it was so weird i thought i would put it here so that people get to notice it.I would like to point out that i personally dont believe what is said in the clip,but its an interesting theory.To get to the part im refering to,fast forward to about 04:20.Then see what is said and make your own mind up.

Conspiracy nonsense. The flag of DC is based off the Coat of Arms of George Washington's family designed in the 13th Century.

Look at the Coat of Arms on the left. This is the town where Washington's ancestors came from.

And the District of Columbia is the name for all of the City of Washington DC, it was name so when Georgetown and other areas were seperate and not part of a megacity. The entire area flies the same flag, and has a city charter like every city. Pennsylvania has its own flag and constitution, does it make it a seperate state?

Pennsylvania is indeed its own state... probably another topic, but all 50 states are indeed states, which is synonymous with nation, which is... interesting... :hmmm:

normally when i see a conspiracy theory vid by the end i'm holding my head in disbelief at the stupidity. but this was much more interesting. still a huge pile of BS, but atleast it was interesting and slightly enjoyable as a work of fiction. certainly uses all the popular themes right now, but atleast the subject is not very socially damaging if people believe it (as the 'bush was behind 9-11' type crap is)
