I have ehhh... lack of generals

Well Im starting a new capaign with the teutons in SS 6.1. Now I have a problem, as every1 here knows teutons in SS 6.1 lack a family tree(why?? dont know maybe they are celibate) so they adopt and the man of the hour thingy. Well I currently have 7 settlements which 5 have generals the other 2 lack them and I cant leader my armies with generals becuz I think they should stay within my cities and castles walls. So is there any way I can make them adopt more dam people?? If I had the possibility of making nobles any1 that owns a horse, can hold a sword and say 3 words before battles I would be really happy but I cant so any other ways??

From a barons stables and up you can recruit generals. Just not very often but they should help.
