Character aging disproportionate to game time
After installing SS 6.1, I have noticed that the characters age much slower than what the year in game is currently. The characters progress at .5 yr/ turn, whereas the game progresses at 1.5 yrs/turn.
I've only noticed this with the implementaion of 6.0 -> 6.1. In 6.0 the characters aged at a rate seemingly on par with the years, and on the 50th turn I was on the 3rd and 4th generations of family members. In 6.1, on the 40th turn I am still only left with the original 3 members and with their children aging very slowly.
I'm curious if perhaps this is a bug that went un-noticed, if I have just been delusional in how fast they aged before, or if there's something I would be able to change myself to adjust the rate of aging.

Re: Character aging disproportionate to game time
It has always been like that. You must not have noticed though. It's a hard-coded thing so no one can change in unfortunately. Thus, the only way your characters will age realistically is to play with a .5 timescale.
