    Hows he mod progress working?
    Slowly as usual

    We've been working on the main knights, Lords and heirs. Finally sorted some bits out and of course re-did some bits

    Battle figures and strat figures have been redone

    We had a lot of debates around the horses associated with the specific characters (ie matching the horse caparison to a specific character as it forces the retinue to also adopt those colours). However I think that's sorted now and they're looking pretty good. The horses are spot on (thanks to Makanyane). For the non faction specific knights they'll just be more mixed up - you can't really match those without severely limiting the colours.


    B.Ward - thanks for the compliment. I've still got to work out if I can fit Roger De Trumpington in as a knight (Your moderator badge- he's the right period!)


    There's a lot of textures still to do but over Christmas I expect to make some fairly good progress including finalising a couple of bits on the map (removing/adding some towns/villages - nothing drastic).

    Happy Christmas to everyone

    Unfortunately I hit another problem yesterday when I was finally hoping to make some progress. My PC suddenly crashed and then came up with a BIOS Rom checksum error. I replaced the battery but it still kept crashing (after a couple of hours but no longer complained about the checksum).
    I've restored back a few days so need to see if that resolved it. Otherwise I'll flash the BIOS and if that fails I probably need to get another PC. Really frustrated that the PC suddenly started to give problems now.

    Happy New year. Yes the problems finally went away after a restore. Think it was a slight memory overload using Photoshop and several other apps which started it. We've been heavily working on knight textures, figures, shields and of course their horse textures through most of the holiday. We also started to update some of the lower mounted units but we still need to update more textures.

    Kyho - thanks. We're getting there finally on the knights. We're actually starting a final run through on some of the textures for the lower units. Currently just sorting out the mounted units.

    Makanyane updated her sig showing some of the knights.

    Lothe - again thanks. We spent most of today fiddling with some padded textures. Finally think we've agreed the final results and layout of the textures so tomorrow I can finish them off.

    Thanks guys. We hit a hiccup due a lighting issue that I had about 6 months ago. This caused a remapping (after we had generated about 120 textures) which seems to of resolved that particular issue now.

    Consequently here's a preview of the final version of the levy spearman we will be using.

    I would say it was worth it.
