    Default Editing faction names

Would be very grateful for any tip on how to edit faction character names... Which files need to be edited and where they to be found? I don't know who did Lithuanian names, but it looks like he's got it from his a***
Another question - if I can change names - would that be applied to the game I already play - I,m into turn 80, or something? Or this game is lost...
    Many thanks!

    You need to modify these:
    data/descr_names.txt
    data/descr_names_lookup.txt
    data/text/names.txt

all 3 need to have the name injected.

Well that's the hard way. You can always just edit the "data/text/names.txt" all by itself and it works just as well.

Just be sure you change only the name after the one in brackets. Like so...

    {A_ishah_Yunus}A'ishah Yunus
    turns into
    {A_ishah_Yunus}Bob

Now all A'ishah Yunus' will be know as Bob. This way is a hell of a lot easier and I've yet to ever see a problem arise. In fact two of my generals have edited names.
