Pray tell, how the hell is this suppose to accomplish anything at all? I'm all for trying to push for change, but signing a petition online is utterly worthless. It's a feel good, nothing more.

I signed it, but like Scarface, I don't believe it will change anything. The Israeli government has been ruling as a legal apartheid nation for a long time anyway.

How exactly? The security measures are necessary because of the threat of terrorism (sucide bombers and more).

And about One Voice, well, there will only be peace when the Arabs leave all occupied Jewish land (and then they can build Palestine in Jordan).

lol, i'm Bias towards Arabs lol. If you had read my past posts i have stated millions of times i hold Jordan totally responsible for the lack of a Palestinian country. I'm bias towards civilians maybe of both Israeli or Palestinian but i do have eyes and ears and i can tell when injustice is committed.

e.g. I don't deny that Hamas fires rockets on purpose at Israel or hezbollah becasue they don't deny it and neither do their supporters, however i also know that Israel drops bombs on purpose yet they and all their supporters here deny it.
Hence i argue against the mentality that Israel is always innocent, becasue only after everyone recognises that both sides are evil and responsible and are ruining the lives of their civilians will there be mutual agreement for peace.

to further elaborate if Israel are seen as totally good and totally innocent of any wrongdoing and any crime that means they have a carte blanche to destroy the Palestinians in the evil vs good battle. Thus a peace is impossible, but when people stop following the trends and myths and look at this situation for what it is, a war about land and freedom.

In the peace process the Palestinians a) deserve the right to self determination and b)deserve the land in which they are the majority, the East Jerusalem, West Bank and Gaza seeing as Israeli jews were a minority in Palestine yet still got their freedom. I do not see why not.

Also people who oppose the Tibetan and Cypriot occupations and Apartheid also support the Israeli occupation are the biggest of hypocrites.

Then again you can hardly complain about bias.

You get enough popular support, something will be done, while directly this petition doesn't do , in directly to bring more attention of the support of this solution could potentially drive politicians to it, after all, they want to be voted back in right?

Thats not going to work. A large portion of the people signing this petition are not even Israeli, and thus can not effect the outcome of the elections. Most of the people within the United states directly and unequivocally support the Israelis, and 600k or 1 million people signing a petition online does virtually nothing to dissuade that fact, so the politicians in America don't have to change their stances on this issue, either. Really, it does nothing- at all. It doesn't even bring media attention to the issue, simply by the nature of where this petition is; the internet. Its a silent petition, there is no direct voice, it is simply not news worthy.

Which occupied Jewish land are the Arabs supposed to leave? As far as the international treaties go, Israel is still occupying lands outside its UN established borders. Not as much as before the withdrawal from Gaza and the West Bank but still.
The irony is that legality is the last issue on the table in the Israeli-palestenian conflict. The Palestenians did not agree to the 1948 borders, That means there is no official borders. The UN just affirmed Israel as a state and left it at that. The gaza strip was a non-country, Egypt refused to hold it. West bank is basically similar. International law is a mess and has no or few stances on such situations.
If you want to discuss morality, logical decisions, and mistakes on both sides that makes sense, Arguing if its legal or not is a bit nonsensical.
I voted yes because i agree with the sentiment, If not the text which is not-so-subtly saying that Israel is bad in the opinion of the website.
funny actually, Says there are 331,000 Isrealis compared to 295,000 palestenians

There was no Palestine in 48, Jordan stole it then. But there are however official 67 borders, which is what is at stake.

Petition is lame. Waste of a few seconds ...

This petition won't work. The hatred in the Arab world of Israel is unimaginable to foreigners. If you talk to a lot of people here in the Middle-East, you'll know this petition won't work. Israelis are hated in the same way France and co. hated Nazi Germany back in the 1930's.

I myself don't like the Zionist state of "Israel", and they don't like me (in other words, they hate us and we hate them ).
