Mod which adds the old Roman factions?

Hi there

Forgive my ignorance, but is there a working mod for RTRPE which adds in the four old Roman factions from the vanilla campaign?

I've looked at that "custom mod" thing, but besides the DL link not working, it adds and changes too much stuff, really.

Isn't there just a relatively simple mod to re-add the different Roman factions and the Senate to the campaign? Greek city states in southern Italy be damned, if need be.

Both the proposal and the solution are completely "unrealistic"...that mod replaces Hastati and Principes with Imperial Units! *sigh*

EDIT: Notice that "unrealistic" may be true, but the mod linked may well be very fun. Realism need not always trump fun-ism. :-)

Actually, that mod looks damn good...it's a shame it's no longer available, I'd like to try out a three-family vanilla system with RTR....plus it would permanently remove the 66bc CTD issue for sure. I could make my own mod, but, he already did all the work, and I really like those skins.

Does anybody have this mod???

Imperial units look better than the old ones

I cannot understand why anyone would want 3 romans factions though, aren't they all the same??

Jesuz, you them have Salvor?! Why do I find that so funny! And old RTR-er you are for sure!

Do you have the updates, too? I'm not sure what they did...I'm thinking of ripping out the Roman faction system and textures (I really like how he recolored the "vanilla RTR skins") and making a "lite" version of that mod for RTRPE. I've recently starting liking the old Roman faction system for some reason....

EDIT: Nevermind, Salvor, I'm going to use the Ferres Modding Legions pack instead...I decided the skins in that mod are too gamey looking. Thanks though!
