Installation file does not work

I've downloaded both parts (from filefront) and tried to install SS 6.0 three times now and on each occassion the installation file does not work. I get a pop up message that says:




Has anyone else experienced this?

If it matters, I'm running vanilla 1.5 retail version of kingdoms and I completely removed SS 5.1 after the first failed installation.

Uninstalled AVG (it was an expired trial version anyways) installation went fine afterwards.

it may be a windows quirk.

I found that a DL'd file I tired to install failed with the same message (so I though it was faulty.) However next day it worked fine so you may just need to restart windows for it to recognise that it's a file that can be installed.
