I would like the community here to (for those who want) show an animated film from 1979 by Norshteyn. For those who know this film and saw it already, why not see it once again, because this film is a mysterious one that you can and must see more then once. This is russian style animated film, and not Disney. The pictures are not clear, and that's the buty of it.
It is sad, melancholic but happy at thesame time. It is dark, mysterious yet you see everything. It has many sombolic meanings. One of them can be linked to this day. 9th may, victory day, when we (esspecially we) celebrate victory upon facism. We saved the world ,for a major part, with a major loss, from that what would destroy it.
In the animated film it is the part when men and women dance togheter and then suddely the man fade away into darkness.
It is called the best animated film at all time, next to another animated film (which is also recomended to be seen) namely "The hedgehog in the mist".
Enjoy because it is a masterpiece of work, at a level far above that what they show today.
EDIT: srry this post should actually belong to the art section. But the fact that drove me to posting it here was because of the fact it is the 9th may today...
