Right now i have to wait about 15-25 secs everytime i end the turn.. -.-

That seems to be the norm. It has been the same for me.
BGR3 seems to slow it down a bit more.. might be just me.
Lucky you! I got 1~2 minutes delay, My CPU is P4 2.4 with 1 G Memory and GF6800XT.while I end up my turn, I always have some time to do other things in the Mid Night...
ahh..... damnit!! if anyone knows how to speed it up please share.![]()
I saw this from some other thread
try Ctrl + Alt+ Del, and change the Medieval II to the highest priority
I personally didnt see much difference, but its worth a try anyway :S

I just did a test with the same turn played with and without this method.
Setting to highest priority ADDED 10 seconds to total ai turn time. So it looks like it is best not to do that. I have not tried lowering the priority...
People who used BGRIII in SS5.1 had 1/2 the turn delay that is in 6.1. The reason is partly due to there being more scripsts in 6.1 even without bgrIII. Each script now wades through the script of the other.
People with fast computers using ss6.1bgrIII get faster times than I do with vanilla. So there are a few factors here to consider.
As long as you have at least 1 GByte of memory (XP) or 2 GBytes (Vista) and presuming that your just running the game alone withouht any high demanding programs running at the same time, than, it seems like the only way to make the end turns faster is to have a high speed processor, I would say a good Quad-Core will do fine, I've tried everything possible and only when I borrowed a quad-core from a friend of mine I could actually see any difference, turns are indeed faster.
The only thing that does help and works very well to me is to overclock the processor, however, this is dangerous specially if you don't know what your doing, I have a Dual Core 6.600 = 2.4 Mhz and I was able to overclock it to 3.2Mhz with a good Zalman cooler, that made a lot of diference to me I would say instead of the initial 10 seconds per turn it takes 6 instead.
However even with a good Quad-Core processor the beggining turns will be a lot faster but later in the game expect turns to be longer, a lot faster than with a bad processor but still long.
This is actually the only reason why I'm not using SS campaign, I'm using Lusted's campaign instead but with SS's units, events and some scripts.
where shall I apply it? in game console or... please, thanks in advance
I have to wait a minute to two minutes...
P.S. you "Alt+Tab" out of Medieval II, right click on the taskbar, choose Task Manager, click the processes tab find medieval.exe or kingdoms.exe right click on it and click set priority.
I wouldn't set it to real time, because it seemed to skip randomly which doesn't just feel right
Nah, it won't harm it, it's the Real Time I kind of worry about....It makes my PC skip, and freeze for 3 seconds... :hmmm:
Anybody complaining about an average of 20 seconds for the AI turn needs to take a step back and get some perspective. However, I do think there are some in game things you can do to decrease the AI turn time.
Remove the option to monitor AI movements at the start of a campaign. And everytime you load your game press spacebar. This turns troop movements into almost instant movement to the location you click the troops to. I believe this affects even the AI movements if you turn it on. Lastly, use the time it takes to roll into your turn again to contemplate your plans for the next turn. Barring those options, go get a better computer if you can't take 20 seconds.
Good point war297. Wish my computer could pull it of in 20 secs. It takes me around 2 minutes. Time which I can use reading a few pages of a book or developing my strategy for the next turn.
