Recruitment Question

Hey at the risk of sounding like a noob i just had 2 ask this question;

Is there a certain year that has to occur for me 2 recruit late era troops when im playing the late era campaign?

reason i ask is that I've played both 5.1 and 6.1 with Spain and i cant recruit any late era troops, i haven't moved past 1300's though so that might be the problem.

also is there an easy way to uninstall the patch, the cavalry is a little funky and i want to see how they perform without the real combat.
Hoping i dont have to reinstall everything.

Anyway ive been playing SS on and off ever since they came out with their first mod, love it 2 death. and the newest 6.0 beast is top of the line.

I saw a post somedays ago, says that CCleaner is a good tool to uninstall though I have never exprienced. http://www.ccleaner.com/

CCleaner is useful for clearing out junk from your hard drive.

nothing to do with SS.

If you have the 6.1 patch I'd keep it as it solves some bugs in the 6.0 game. I believe you can re-install but uncheck the options you don't require. (or check the ones you do.)

If you have RR installed, units with partial plate become available about 1275-1280, and many more after about 1310.

And thank you everyone else, i found a list of 6.1 compatible mods on this forum that solved my problem, one was able 2 undue the aspects of the patch i dint like while keeping all the goodies that really enrich the game.
