Seeing their has been this debate about Hillary Clinton being Obama's running mate for VP, I thought I would make a poll. The least Senator Clinton can get is the VP office.Yes or No or Abstain?
Also, explain why. Vote in the poll too.

NO, because it would go against his brand, being the candidate of change
YES, because it would help him unite the party and get all those ravenous sixty something women hillary supporters in his back pocket.
So to answer your question, no and yes.
In that case, you should Abstain then. I abstained as well because the race has not officially ended, she can still win 3 or more of the next six contests, and she still has a very, I admit, slight chance to overthrow Obama's lead IF the Democratic Rules Committee decide to do redo primaries in Florida and Michigan during their meeting on May 31st.
Ah but both major political analysts and superdelegates admit that she can literally catch if both Michigan and Florida do redo primaries. Both states do have large amounts of delegates for her to catch up in the delegate count, and both states have enough people for her to catch up in the vote count so significantly that she'll be able to make a good argument to the superdelegates about herself being a better match against John Mccain in the fall.
No: Clinton is a polarizing figure, lots of people love her-- the rest despise her. Obama is seen as being pretty Liberal, and therefore he needs a Moderate running partner. Besides that, the two have insulted each other so often it is simply not conceivable for them to work well together, or to convince others they hold each other in a high regard.
I voted no. It would probably be viewed as an entirely cynical exercise.

No, Hilary is a left leaning moderate and Obama is far left. Their political beliefs differ on many specifics which makes them too different to run together. Obama should choose and left VP so he could gain support from both the moderate Democrats (Types of democrats who like Hilary and Lieberman) and far left democrats (Types of Democrats who like Kerry and Ted Kennedy).
No. Hilary needs to get theout of politics. She's a slimy bastard. While I like Obama, I think all that 'change' BS is exactly BS. Everyone always makes empty promises to get elected, and he may even be serious. But once he becomes the President if that happens he's gonna be like "Oh crap, it's not as easy as I thought it would be, sorry America." People are stupid if they think he's gonna come in and introduce radical change for our benefit even if he truly wants that. If it were so easy it wouldve happened long long ago. And neither of them are going to honor their ideas about getting the troops out.
so moderate democrat means "republican who calls themselves a democrat":
hillary is pro everything bush is, she is just another neo con and should not be called democrat,
and lieberman is not a democrat he is an independent.
obama wants to phase combat troops out by his first term, you said that was possible in the other thread
It is if you want a successful withdrawal from Iraq. Which is exactly why he won't do it. And what I meant was that you could pull out a great majority and let the Iraqis operate on their own. But I didn't stay a complete withdrawal was possible at all. Just a significant downsizing.
no actually she cant, perhaps you need to re add the things up, there is no way for the witch to win
Explain to me with numbers please. The math says that she can catch up if Florida and Michigan hold redo primaries. Maybe not in delegates, but in the vote count. Nancy Pelosi did say that she and other superdelegates will back the candidate with the leading vote count if the delegates go nowhere by the end of the primaries and caucuses.![]()

NO: Hillary and her husband have tried to trivialize, distort, and discredit Obama since he became a threat. He doesn't need someone like that on the ticket with him. She's done quite enough this election season...
Play around with the numbers here. Include Florida and Michigan re-votes if you want. I challenge you to find a slightly feasible set of outcomes that would pole vault Hillary within striking range of Obama's lead.

its impossible
The Democrats award those delegates proportionately, KB. Obama would still get some percent of those if they were seated.
