    Default tresholds in traits

I'm trying to create a rank system and i have a little problem.
I want the character to take the promotion after some turns.
I must put the turns as thresholds? or something else?
I tried as thresholds and the character takes the first and the second rank but not the others.

    For example i have this

    Trait Military_Carrer_In_Byzantium
    Characters family

    Level Title_Topoteretes
    Description Title_Topoteretes_desc
    EffectsDescription Title_Topoteretes_effects_desc
    Threshold 1

    Level Title_kentarchos
    Description Title_kentarchos_desc
    EffectsDescription Title_kentarchos_effects_desc
    Threshold 4

    Level Title_Taxiarches
    Description Title_Taxiarches_desc
    EffectsDescription Title_Taxiarches_effects_desc
    Threshold 8

    Level Title_Droungarios
    Description Title_Droungarios_desc
    EffectsDescription Title_Droungarios_effects_desc
    Threshold 12
    ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

    ;----------------------------------------------------
    Trigger Carrer_start
    WhenToTest CharacterTurnEnd

    Condition EndedInSettlement
    and CultureType greek
    and SettlementName Constantinople
    and not IsFactionLeader
    and IsGeneral

    Affects Military_Carrer_In_Byzantium 1 Chance 100
    ;----------------------------------------------------

    Trigger Topoteretes_to_kentarchos
    WhenToTest CharacterTurnStart

    Condition CultureType greek
    and not IsFactionLeader
    and IsGeneral
    and Trait Military_Carrer_In_Byzantium = 1

    Affects Military_Carrer_In_Byzantium 1 Chance 100
    ;----------------------------------------------------

    Trigger kentarchos_to_Taxiarches
    WhenToTest CharacterTurnStart

    Condition CultureType greek
    and not IsFactionLeader
    and IsGeneral
    and Trait Military_Carrer_In_Byzantium = 2

    Affects Military_Carrer_In_Byzantium 1 Chance 100
    ;----------------------------------------------------

I know that the thresholds is something like points in the game, but i have something wrong. Can anyone help please?

    Level Title_kentarchos :Level 2
    Description Title_kentarchos_desc

    Threshold 8

    Level Title_Droungarios :Level 4
    Description Title_Droungarios_desc

    Threshold 12

    ;------------------------------------------

    Trigger Carrer_start
    WhenToTest CharacterTurnEnd

    Condition EndedInSettlement
    and SettlementName Constantinople

    and FactionType byzantium
    and not IsFactionLeader
    and Trait Military_Carrer_In_Byzantium = 0

    Affects Military_Carrer_In_Byzantium 1 Chance 100

:character ended turn in constantinople and Trait Military_Carrer_In_Byzantium Level 0 add one Threshold point.

    ;------------------------------------------

    Trigger Carrer_Get
    WhenToTest CharacterTurnEnd

    Condition IsGeneral
    and FactionType byzantium
    and Trait Military_Carrer_In_Byzantium >= 1
    and not IsFactionLeader

    Affects Military_Carrer_In_Byzantium 1 Chance 100

:character ended turn and Trait Military_Carrer_In_Byzantium Level 1 or more add one Threshold point.

Thanks a lot for your responce TNZ
If I am understand correctly if I add

    Trigger Carrer_Get
    WhenToTest CharacterTurnEnd

    Condition IsGeneral
    and FactionType byzantium
    and Trait Military_Carrer_In_Byzantium >= 1
    and not IsFactionLeader

    Affects Military_Carrer_In_Byzantium 1 Chance 100

Character gets one threshold every turn until he reach the threshold points which required to take the promotion. Right?

    The promotion triggers are ok?

Simply add a - in front of the number.
    For example, you would say
    Affects Military_Carrer_In_Byzantium -1 Chance 100

An example of removing a character trait.

    Trait:

    ;------------------------------------------
    Trait Disapproval
    Characters family
    AntiTraits Approval

    Level Feels_Unappreciated
    Description Feels_Unappreciated_desc
    EffectsDescription Feels_Unappreciated_effects_desc
    Threshold 20

    Effect Loyalty -1

    Level Feels_Disrespected
    Description Feels_Disrespected_desc
    EffectsDescription Feels_Disrespected_effects_desc
    Threshold 40

    Effect Loyalty -1

    ;------------------------------------------

    Trigger:

    ;------------------------------------------
    Trigger cleanupkingDisapprovalA
    WhenToTest CharacterTurnEnd

    Condition IsFactionLeader
    and Trait Disapproval = 1
    and FactionIsLocal

    Affects Disapproval -20 Chance 100

    ;------------------------------------------
    Trigger cleanupkingDisapprovalB
    WhenToTest CharacterTurnEnd

    Condition IsFactionLeader
    and Trait Disapproval = 2
    and FactionIsLocal

    Affects Disapproval -40 Chance 100

    ;------------------------------------------
