RR and Order Spearmen/Military training

So I started up a Tuetonic campaign with RR installed (and not BYG due to the supposed delay). I understand and like the concept of RR, however, is there any place where there is a table showing the requirements for each unit? At the moment, I'm about 20 turns in and trying to figure out what's needed to pump out Order Spearment (to counter the uber cavalry in SS) but can't find any information on it in the building browsers (I did do multiple searches in the SS forums and read the threads that looked useful but nothing panned out). The RR documentation indicated to me that I'm off by either amourer level and/or year, but it's not specific.

Also, I understand the training system doesn't apply for the order as they have no family tree? Is this the entire system, or just the admin portion of it. All my generals are militarily inclined per the traits. Should I still expect them to develope in castles or not?

Order spearmen have partial plate armor, hence are unavailable until about 1275-1280. Until then, you mostly need to use the order cavalry to counter enemy cavalry.
