Default So it looks like I'm voting Mickey Mouse for Congress...

Yep, looks like a write in this year.

My congressman is Bill Shuster, and he is a douche so I don't want to vote for him. However his democratic challenger is anti-war in Iraq and that is a major issue for me. I wish I knew there was another Republican running against him for the spot or I would have voted in the primary, but since he was the incumbent I thought he had the spot reserved. So since I hate both it looks like Mickey Mouse is getting my vote this year.

Doesn't matter, Mickey Mouse is one of the common protest votes, along with Darth Vader...

Danzig: Bugs Bunny however is a liar, who commonly attempts to trick hunters into shooting Daffy by claiming it is duck season. That kind of two-facedness needs to leave Washington, no matter Bugs Bunny's patriotic service in WWII.

Sir you insult a war hero by disparaging Bugs character. I question whether you yourself are a true patriot to this country that you would show such malice in attacking a fine, upstanding cartoon character who served in the marines that has given so much to this country. Where was Mickey when Bugs was in the pacific single handily taking a island held by the Japanese? No doubt Mickey was busy involved in some interspecies orgy with Minnie and Pluto. And lets face it Daffy deserved it, he did after all attempt to dodge the draft during WW2.

Ok im done! Seriously it does suck when one actually has no viable or worthwhile choice.

How in the world can you support Mickey especially consider Bugs is a far superior choice. Mickey is nothing but a feel good, left wing commie lover while Bugs is a no nonsense straight shooter. Just look at the way Bugs ridiculed Goering during WW2.

Seems he just gets handed the list on how to vote by the party heads and just follows it to a T...

I don't want a congressman that just follows the party line, I want one that can actually think for himself.

Farnan, I lived in the same district as you when I lived in PA. I lived in Indiana County. Now I live in Indiana State.

To be more on topic, however, Are there no third-party candidates? Or are you just trying to send your Congressman a message?

No third party candidates (none want to come to an extremely rural region), and I live in Cambria County, I got friends who go to IUP.

Sounds like a great congressman actually.
As a teenager, I was taken to various houses and flats above takeaways in the north of England, to be beaten, tortured and raped over 100 times. I was called a “white slag” and “white ****” as they beat me.

There is also the fact he is the definition of an elitist. He acts like he is above the law and is better than the people around him and treats Airline Screeners like saying that he shouldn't have to be checked since he is a Congressman.

Correct, and you can always write-in a candidate, such as Alfred E. Newman, (or is it Neuman?), or just assinate the winning candidate if you don't like him/her.

Not for my congressional district. Most due, but I come from one where a father and son have held the position for 35 years and no third party put up a candidate.
