    Default modern army!

    i like modern armies : long range muskets+late infantries+cannons

which one is the best in your opinion?

european ones are good because you can find uber pikemen (militia or elite)

Genoa : good canons, militia pikemen, elite muskets, Uber familia ducalae cavalry

Venice : good canons, mortars!!! (good to take cities and defend forts), militia pikemen, elite muskets, respectable cavalry

Spain : elite canons, professional tercio pikemen!, elite muskets, Uber gendarmes

Portugal : elite canons, UBER AVENTUROS, elite muskets, respectable cavalry

    on the other hand.....

Turks : good canons, TERMINATOR 720dmg huge canon, JANISSARY LEET infantry, elite muskets, NAFFATUNS, Uber Heavy cavalry

looking at the playstyle which i described, what faction is the best for you?

I've always liked pike and shot armies. If you want the ultimate in that - Portugal. An army of half Aventuros and half Muskets can take anything. You don't even need cavalry - just form small groups of muskets with aventuros defending them, and maneuver them around the field.

I prefer my ranged units mounted though.

I like armies that have long range powerful archers ( not gunpowder units/not crossbows that much) with my main favorites been England of course , and the turks. I'm also a fan of heavy defensive infantry that wear they heavy looking plate Armour that covers their whole body so they look like tin men - not that much of a gun powder fan

I don't like archer armies. It makes the game too easy, and the AI doesn't know how to handle it.

I use good old fashioned heavy infantry, spearmen and heavy cavalry armies. Templars are perfect for that imho... but they're not in the late campaign. Maybe KoJ? Never played with them, but would think that they look like the Templars.

For a powerfull late medieval army I would choose between Spain and Ottomans. They both have good units and reasonable historical background for late medieval empire (if you like play RPG elements in TW).

For powerful "modern" armies I would have say the US. For late medieval armies I would actually vote Aragon. You get good gunpowder units, Tercio pikemen and good cavalry. Plus Dismounted Knights of Montesa own!
