Firstly - I'd like to say I'm a huge fan of the Total War series, I've been playing since Shogun... And I'm also a huge fan of this mod - I've been playing it on and off since 4.0... And I was eagerly anticipating 6.0. I've been a silent viewer of these forums for a while... But I felt compelled to create an account just to say: Well done on an absolutely fantastic mod!

I really appreciate all the effort that went into its creation, and it quite frankly oozes quality! It's the best time I've had playing Medieval II so far!

As a quick reference to my campaign - I'm playing late era as the Republic of Novgorod. In my early turns I made successful alliances with Lithuania and the Kievan Rus', and the Cuman Khanate and Khwarezmian Empire shortly after. All of which have started to create alliances with each other, which I have never experienced! This has allowed me to develope in relative peace, slowly building up my strength, while I watch the HRE and Turkish Sultanate slowly get stronger and stronger. I see a very entertaining future for this campaign!

So... As I leave - I just want to say thank you again! You've done an excellent job, and I hope you continue to do it.

...Just give me time to finish this campaign!

Sounds like a good campaign. I would suggest visiting the sub mod forum and checking some out. Lusted has updated the AI, its easy to install and no need to start a new campaign.

Oh, and ya your campaign sounds like alot of fun, I wonder where you'll expand to? Baltic? Middle East? BOTH!? Hm...

Right now Im playing as Ireland, and with the help of William Wallace just took London. I have Ireland, of course, Exteter, London, Winchester, and Carneavarn. The only way I even stood a chance fighting England was the Crusading troops I came back with the first Crusade to Vilinius, but did get excommunicated.. Doh! Scots were too, we've been great friends and it was nice helping Wallace out, especially when my Prince Laurence killed a Fan-favorite King Laurence and his full army of English goodness. I lost most of my Crusading troops but I know that stopping King Laurence of England from Building up even more forces in Nottingham was not good, period. Currently, It's crusading in Spain, they've been excommunicated again but are doing EXTREMELY well. I just got to the gates last night with 2 crusading armies and let me tell you even with the help coming the Spainish are looking to get it back shortly after I take it ^.^

I'm playing the Holy Roman Empire right now. I have had a lot of problems with divided loyalties in my generals. But i usually "take care" of them, Darth Vader style! Hehe..

Other wise my empire is growing in spite of the game being slightly more difficult than before. 6.1 rocks! \m/
