Incessent Backstabbing

In my Poland campaign I was attacked by my whole game ally Denmark (mind you only 40 turns in) and i've called a ceasefire and trade is going again (this is now the 3rd ceasefire i've called with them ) and the Alliance option is no longer valid, not that i'd take it, its probably worth very very little to them. Anyway, how do I get that option back? Wait a few turns? Or something else?

Have you upgraded to Lusteds new AI? Well you should pay attention to your faction reputation / standing.
You will be unable to offer alliance if faction is allied to soemone you are at war with.

i never got backstabbed in the game. my rep is 'very trustworthy' & 'supreme power' tho

Lusted's new AIs are realy good at fixing these kind of problems, I would give them a shot if you are not likeing the way the AI treats you.
