    Default Need an explanation on how fair fighter works in 6.1.

    Usually id get the trait after i win a heroic victory but i cant seem to get it anymore. Ive fought tons of battles and had the general not attack anyone. Ive also had the general kill everyone in sight and i don't get either fair fighter or wining first. Can someone explain whats going on?

    Well winning first is a Battle Dread trait, so it can be gotten by the general killing people eg

    ;------------------------------------------
    Trigger battle_Dread_fighting
    WhenToTest PostBattle
    Condition GeneralNumKillsInBattle > 8
    and not Trait BattleChivalry > 0
    Affects BattleDread 1 Chance 5
    Affects Brave 1 Chance 20
    Affects Bloodthirsty 1 Chance 10

    or by excuting the heathen eg
    ;------------------------------------------
    Trigger VanquisherHeathenExecutes
    WhenToTest GeneralPrisonersRansomedCaptor
    Condition FactionReligion catholic
    and not TargetFactionReligion orthodox
    and not TargetFactionReligion catholic
    and NumCapturedCharacters >= 1
    and RansomType execute
    Affects VanquisherHeathen 1 Chance 100
    Affects BattleDread 1 Chance 100

    So definately still in there.

    Did the % chance to get the trait get reduced?

    Nope, but there was an effort to give more Dread traits overall, as some people like dread generals.

    Trigger battle_Dread_fighting
    WhenToTest PostBattle
    Condition GeneralNumKillsInBattle > 8
    and not Trait BattleChivalry > 0
    Affects BattleDread 1 Chance 5
    Affects Brave 1 Chance 20
    Affects Bloodthirsty 1 Chance 10

    Fair fight/Winning First are also determined by the battle odds
    Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    ;------------------------------------------
    Trigger battle_BattleChivalry_Defender
    WhenToTest PostBattle

    Condition not WasAttacker
    and IsGeneral
    and BattleOdds <= 0.5
    and not Trait BattleDread >= 1
    and GeneralFoughtInCombat

    Affects BattleChivalry 1 Chance 85

    ;------------------------------------------
    Trigger battle_BattleChivalry_Attacker
    WhenToTest PostBattle

    Condition WasAttacker
    and IsGeneral
    and WonBattle
    and BattleOdds <= 0.5
    and not Trait BattleDread >= 1
    and GeneralFoughtInCombat

    Affects BattleChivalry 1 Chance 33

    Where as fighting with vastly superior force helps with Dread
    Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    ;------------------------------------------
    Trigger battle3Dread_PickingOnWeak
    WhenToTest PostBattle

    Condition WasAttacker
    and WonBattle
    and BattleOdds > 2
    and PercentageEnemyKilled > 75
    and not Trait BattleChivalry > 0

    Affects BattleDread 1 Chance 15

    How does the following work?
    Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    Trigger battle3Chivalry1_notchaserouters
    WhenToTest PostBattle

    Condition WonBattle
    and BattleSuccess >= average
    and PercentageEnemyKilled < 10
    and not GeneralFoughtInCombat
    and IsGeneral
    and BattleOdds < 0.95
    and not Trait BattleDread > 0

    Affects BattleChivalry 1 Chance 33

    This doesn't seem to actually check for routers. The only meaingful conditions are winning by killing only 10% of the enemy without the general engaging in combat.

    Also, there should be a BattleChivalry -1 (or -2) and BattleDread +1 for attempting an ambush (and maybe +2 BattleDread if successful). Ambushing was probably against all notions of chivalry.

    The idea is that if you have engaged the enemy (<10% killed) but they ran away, you did not chase them down with your cavalry, at which point the kill ratio whould have gone above 10%, and in all probabilty you would have used your general to kill some of them. It otherwords we are guessing what happended as there is no way of actually checking.

    Why not use NumCapturedSoldiers < 50 instead? Something like:
    Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    Trigger battle3Chivalry1_notchaserouters
    WhenToTest PostBattle

    Condition WonBattle
    and BattleSuccess >= average
    and NumCapturedSoldiers <= 50
    and IsGeneral
    and BattleOdds < 0.95
    and not Trait BattleDread > 0

    Affects BattleChivalry 1 Chance 33

    Note: If "PercentCapturedSoldiers" exists, then replace "and NumCapturedSoldiers <= 50" with "and PercentCapturedSoldiers <10".

    The not GeneralFoughtInCombat is removed since the Chivalric action is not staying out of the fight, but rather not capturing helpless, fleeing enemies. Instead of guessing the General's actions, we instead evaluate the army's actions.

    Can the ambush negatively affecting Chivalry be implemented (If you find my logic sound)? I can't find any conditions regarding ambush.
