Balance of Mongolian army

Mongolian army seems too strong for me. I can never beat a full-loaded Mongolian army with a full-loaded army from other faction (Difficulty: hard). Maybe we need to lower the solider number of Mongolian army? Or anyone help me with some strategy to beat them.

Also in history, Mongolian has some excellent tools to break the castle and city with the help of Chinese skilled engineers (or say slaves). I don't want to make Mongolian stronger. However, we need to go with history.

Also Most of Mongolian generals with their armies should go back to their capital to vote ( or fight) to create their new king when the old king died, so that the European kingdoms and Egypt can enjoy some peaceful time and prepare for Mongolian's next attack.

For me, lowering the number of Mongolian solider to half and adding more siege tools to them, would be a good choice.

yea,at the first release RM2 without fixes they were extremely strong,but i fixed them and made them more realistic,now,they are strong but not impossible as before,and you have to find the right strategy to beat them,if you play as mamlukes or eastern islamic faction,you have to recruit mounted archers,and heavy cavalry,the most effective unit in the mongolian army is the mounted archers,i reduced their ammo,so after a while they will attack with swords,so heavy cavalry can easily beat them.

about other mongolian units,i dont think they are very hard.
about the numbers,their numbers were a strong point for their armies.(battle of baghdad 1258)120,000 mongolian soldier defeated the abbaisd army (50,000) and they killed 90,000-1,000,000 civilians.

Well let me say that should not be to weaken the faction Mongolian, as a strong point of MOD MEDIEVAL Rome, since he played the MOD SPQR 6.4, not much had enjoyed a MOD, the principle seems difficult but only thing is to be a good overall and develop your military genius, after testing different types of formations and units, got an army able to beat the Mongolian horde, one of my training is as follows:
With the Roman Empire of the East:
Tier 1 - At the extremes archers in the middle artillery (combination of catapults and cannons)
Tier 2 - Back in the first row to put heavy cavalry across the row.

This is good training for combat with the Mongols who have predilection for recruiting cavalry, either heavy cavalry and mounted archers.
Since archers have a higher burden to reach the Mongols so often decide to go to upload, that's why the importance that the first row after this the heavy cavalry, when the Mongols are going to load your charges with your cavalry and they regress and return to your spears and arrows and fire artillria catapult stones at the end when are weakened send to bear your cavalry and adios Mongols. It is important to distribute well projectiles against the Mongols, is also important at the end than before charging you with your cavalry and make sure that they finished the arrows on the mounted archers.

Take some ideas and info. from Shogun TW for the Mongols., and I suspect you have already. I sure would.

Mongols i think had the best medieval cavalry....and unique strategy in the battlefield..and they must be strong in the mod...

Yes, the best horse archers maybe, but their heavy and medium cavalry didn't usually charge to close quarters until the Mongols had filled their opponents with arrows. Mongols and their horses were smaller than Europeans and were at a little bit of a disadvantage in close combat, not much though because they were fierce.

Might be good to give the Mongols more stamina and slightly higher morale and experience.

I do wish to recognize the fact that Mongolian armies were outnumbered in most of the battles they fought.
