Greetings - a new member with questions...thank you in advance

First off, let me say AWESOME JOB for all the people who contributed to this mod. This brought me back to playing MTW2 after I got sick of the vanilla version.

Now on to the questions....

I know this gunpowder event not happening in late era campaign has been discussed before, and I did install gracul's little fix pack. However I have a pretty good HRE late campaign going on right now (turn 38 something wiped out Poland, Genoa, and currently preparing to invade the british isles), and I started this campaign before installing the fix pack.

I would really like to keep playing this campaign.....with gunpowder of course. Is there anyway to activate the gunpowder units and buildings (or the event itself)? Maybe console commands?

You could try editing the export_descr_buildings.txt file in the data folder and take out all the "and event_counter gunpowder_discovered 1" conditions you can find and see if that works. It works with buildings but not sure about units.

Just make sure you back up the file first so you can restore the original settings when you go to start your next campaign.

You will also, of course, not get any of the other game events either until you start a new game.
