Please Advise - Cannot Trade Ancillaries

I am playing 6.0 with the Templars, in the early era and cannot trade any of my ancillaries between my generals. I may be doing it wrong and was hoping someone would set me straight.

Usually this is because the target (the general you want to move the ancillary to) has maxxed out his 8 slots. Some of the ancillaries can't be moved like "Fine Armour" and there are others.

I have NEVER managed to succesfully move an ancilliary, in SS or vanilla, I thought that had been taken out since RTW.

Put both generals in the same army. Open up the guys info who has what you want to trade. Left click and hold on the ancillary you want to trade, then drag it to the second general's portrait. Should get the job done.

Yep that's exactly how it is done, but then I noticed that one of my generals got the "Feels Unappreciated" trait or something like that...

You took away his shiney hat, or perhaps lordship over <insert> and gave it to someone else. Of course he feels unloved =P

I'm pretty sure all of them can be transferred. You just have to do it right :hmmm:

Not all of them can be transfered. If you want to see which ones can and cannot open up your "export_descr_ancillaries" and do a search for

"Transferable 0"

Those will be all the ones that are not transferable. To change it simply change the 0 to a 1.

Ok, transfer a princesses secret lover to the faction heir, and an adultress from the old king to his 14 yr old son. Oh, and maybe pass the crown of HRE to a 'your not my king' general
