Bizarre installation problem
I admit, this is not technically an SS issue but I spend most time in this forum so I thought I'd ask here:
I decided to delete my copy of M2TW and re-installfor 6.1. I have got rid of the game and then re-installed M2TW to 1.0. I then installed Kingoms over the top (both are the separate retail editions). I have tried this several times, both to the default Program files/SEGA folder and creating a new M2TW folder on C: Each time, Kingdoms appears to install (ie goes through the 45 minute process with progress bars) but then is nowhere to be found. If I try to reinstall I am told 'Kingdoms is already installed' and the loading programme ends. If I start M2TW, which has installed correctly, under options it comes up as version 1.03
Can anyone tell me what's going on? I cannot seem to direct the Kingdoms install to a specific directory (I HATE auto-installers) so have no idea what it's doing but am completely stuck...

Re: Bizarre installation problem
I'm assuming you cant play kingdoms? If so..
Have you tried the REGEDIT function? When you unistall, delete the SEGA folder in the Program Files, then type REGEDIT into the search function and delete the entried for SEGA/M2TW under the software headings. Then try reinstalling M2TW and Kingdoms.
If this doesnt work try installing M2TW, then patch to 1.2, then 1.3 then install Kingdoms, but i'm clutching at straws here cos i iz a n00b.

Re: Bizarre installation problem
