    Default Polish Piast Nobles shields

Hi, I find the look of Polish Piast Nobles and their dismounted version shields terrible. The red-white-blue stripes simply look stupid. I doubt if any noble would paint his shield this way. A noble should have his family crest painted on the shield. Thus, I did some searching in the internet and found some interesting Polish crests schemes: http://zamki.res.pl/herby.htm http://www.herby.umk.pl/wystawa/rody/
It would cool to see these on the shields of Polish nobility. Since I don't know how to mode I'm looking for someone who has some spare time and the skill to do it.

Hm, guess I will have to try and do it myself. Tips on changing shield painting would be appreciated.

I'm currently working on my Novgorod mod but I'll have some spare time after that in which I can have a crack at it if you wish

Chuck Norris doesn't have to shape his hair... It stays in shape out of sheer fear.

A snake once bit Chuck. After five days of extreme pain... The snake died.

The second link shows lithuanian not polish coat of arms/crest/heraldry whatever you can call it. And i dont know why but the first link doesnt show any pictures.

So (while being bored at work) i searched for some links for anyone whou would like to take care of it:
    first
There is also some polish guy who has been collecting information about many other coats of arms:
    polish
    more polish
    templar
    teutonic knights
maltanese order knights (also known as joannites or hospitalers )

    hope this helps

If it's a vanilla file that is unchanged by SS you'll need to unpack it first using the unpacker tool in M2TW\tools\unpacker. So you dont stuff up your game you'll want to unpack the files into a different directory and you might want to just get the .texture files to save on hard disk space. Use the following in a .bat file to run the unpacker to do this:

    Code:
    unpacker.exe --source=..\..\packs\*.pack --destination=c:\packs\ --filter=*.texture --verbosity=1

And what if my vanilla file is changed by SS? Becouse I got SS 6.0 installed. Can I still open the texture files the way you described? And one more question, what is a .bat file and where can I find one?

    Thanks
