Can't install

I can no longer install RTW. It says "an earlier verson of RTW is detected" even though there is none. My uninstall was a bit hazardry, though. I was moving the RTW folder to D in order to make some space to C but I cancelled it midway through due to a mistake. So I was left with other half of the directory at C and other half at D. I uninstalled it using control panel and then deleted the left over folders.

What can I do?

Then before you can reinstall RTW, you will have to uninstall RTW manually. You will have to delete RTW on all your drives. You will have clean your registry of all traces of RTW. Then you can reinstall.

Managed to make it work after long and painful struggle. Searched for ROMETW and found there were a couple lonely files left on my computer and deleted them.

I have no idea where they were, though. It didn't show the location. Quess they were some kind of ghost files.
