CTDing - Help!

Hey, everyone. I'm having some trouble with my Platinum edition. You see, I keep CTDing while in campaign mode; let me explain:

I'm playing as the Ptolemaic Empire. I've amassed quite a large amount of land, and the loss of all of this effort would be quite saddening to me. In the summer of 242 BC, no matter what I do, I CTD when trying to end my turn. I'm running the game on Windows Vista (yeah, I know, root of all evil etc.) with more than recommended specs.

Does anyone have any insight they can share that can help my situation?

If it happens immediately after clicking end turn install the revolt hotfix.

I did, it still happens.

When exactly does it happen? During another faction`s turn, when you do something or instantly when you hit end turn?

Instantly when I hit end turn. It just crashes.

EDIT: It may actually be when the AI's turn starts. Units that haven't moved as planned do so automatically when I hit end turn (as they should), and then it crashes.

use the console to toggle the fog of war off and then end turn. This way you`ll see if it goes further and what exactly happens.

As for the revolt hotfix. Are you sure you`ve installed it correctly? If you did you should have a duplicate unit available to recruit but for a very large sum(over 30000 iirc).
