Patch Installation??

to verify if i have installed the patch right, the desktop icon will remain SS 6.0. are there any other ways to tell? i ask so that i dont get 30 turns into the campaign and find out nothing changed. thanks

I've had problems of my own with it but yeah the desktop icon is suppose to stay the same but when you load the mod the load screen should say SS 6.1

yea it didnt say that, when i installed the patch it kept double copying medieval l;ike sega/totalwar/medieval/medieval.

Yeah sounds like a bad install. Don't feel bad i have tried for hours to try to get mines to work with no luck.

yea i am goign to try to reinstall and see how it gos, only thing is how is it going to take having two patches in the folder. have you got yours to work yet?

Well y the automatic installer does all the work for you.So just follow the instructions at one point it will ask you to chose the submods that you want installed along with the patch you'll see it. Just check the box that corresponds with what you want and the rest takes care of it's self.Also you cant have any other sub mods installed supposedly for this patch to work. Now i have done that but when my mod loads the load screen says SS 6.1 but when i play the mod nothing has changed as matter of fact the new patch has a new Intro but i still get the same one and so i know something is wrong with mines. Maybe it will work better for you. let me know how it turns for you. Hopefully you will have better luck than i have had today with this.

mines uploads but when i start the mod none of the features that the patch is suppose to have are not present Everything looks the same. Is good to know that i am not the only one with problems regarding this patch

hey i just reinstalled it, try this. when the setup picks the directory, dont change anything verify that its correct without browsing or typing. then hit install. see if that helps. thanks+ rep for helping out

no problem glad i can help. That is the first real answer besides the one kk gave me earlier that i have gotten all day regarding this patch. Thank you. I'll try that out.

Warmachine where in the patch notes do you see that there should be a new Intro?
I looked serval times an could not see that.
SS6.0 hat a new Intro Video thats right but SS6.1?

Hi it is located right underneath where it says features well right underneath that in small print it says new Intro video. You'll see it.
