Slowdown bug after using mkvtovob
I'm having some trouble after using a program called mkvtovob. Everything, well, dosn't slow down but rather lag. When I browse on the campaignmap, it all seems to go a bit, then wait for 0.1 sec, and so on.Also it seems my comp just can't handle battles of any size, any settings, kinda the same problem. Only more annoying. And it all started after I had converted some files. Now I've tried changing about all the settings in MTW, reinstalling displaydrives, reinstalling MTW, and removing mkvtovob. But nothnig changes.
I do see one last hope. And that's reinstalling windows xp, but I'd rather not. Has anyone run into this problem? And fixed it?

Huh? It's just that after I used it one time M2TW goes into a lagmode, nothing to do with the game. Use it to convert .mkv into .vob. And it doesn't mather if it's on. Even tried removing it. No hickups before I used it.
Specs, sure
Q6600 + P35 Motherboard
8800GTS 512MB
3 GB ram
Some 500 GB disks
And Windows Xp

I have had this kind of problem before. I uninstalled it and left it uninstalled for a while, then when I reinstalled it worked. But that should be a last resort.

Use a good registry cleaner and see if any of it is left and delete it.

Didn't work. Don't know if the one I found was any good, Eusing free registry cleaner. Seem to clean up a bit though
Oh well, about time fore a fresh windowsinstall anyways ^^
Wierd thing is this is a problem with RTW too, but no other games.
Edit:
There, only took 45 from start to every driver installed.
