Which faction is the most challenging to play in SS 6?

Well I decided to make the question simple and clear, since some members couldn't resist being cheeky and giving more than 3 polls in my previous attempt to poll the the public.

I voted for Knights Templar, they are definitely the challenge.

Templars, with little or no help from other catholic factions, its a tight and ongoing fight. Ceasefire results in another fight a turn after and the surroundings of the area of very vast, making it hard for the templars to expand

If i'm not mistaken, heavily armored units have reduced morale in the desert.
Wouldn't that make the templars weaker late-game?

Khwarezm, not only do the Mongols start in your territories and @ war with you, It's kind of difficult to get your castles producing troops that can take the Mongols. Also, money seems real hard to come by in the East (I expanded all the way into the coastal levant < Antioch and Acre >) and only then did I see any real money coming in, until then I was barely able to afford a single decent stack, whick doesn't really help when the only way to kill the Mongols is spamming elite troops.

I gave my vote to Novgorod just because you dot get any good untis until you can build dvor anything lol. your always poor all your neighbors have better units and if you go left you have to deal with the pope if you go right you have to deal with the mongols.

Lithuania (minding that I only ever play late era)

I find them so cool, yet every time I try and play as them, the Teutonic Order comes and stomps me after about 10-20 turns. Sure I can barely beat their first full stack, but when that 2nd comes along loaded with heavy cavalry, it's trouble then.

uhm, mongols?

i know it seems kinda lame, but i find it hard to play as them. well, not really. i immediately wipe out the khwarezmian shah, but from there it's kinda downhill. i only have one enemy, the cumans, but it's proving to be a challenge for me (money's in the red negative since my settlements don't produce enough money even when i've done and conquered a lot). i dunno, its just prolly me. im not really that an amazing player. perhaps anyone here can give me a few tips on how to save my golden horde empire?

early campaign is all i really play.

so...i agree..the Knights Templar.
1. super small start off. takes care to get started.
2. you are in the middle of two powerful empires...turks arnt as bad becuz they have other problems...but eygpt is a beast...crusades nor the Knights Templar can easily kill them.
3. being a knight order...slow powerful units...not best for open desert combat..plus heavy upkeeps. have to get trade rights everywhere you can more cash.

Knights Templar are a challenge but i like them alot in the game.
